Karina is a registered physiotherapist certified in spinal manipulation (FCAMT), acupuncture (CAFCI) and Chan Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS).

She obtained her BSc in Physical Therapy from Queen's University and a degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia.

Karina is a former national-level competitive swimmer and spent her entire career in private practice where she has treated primarily orthopaedic and sports conditions.  She joins our clinic after working in Whistler, British Columbia where she treated competitive athletes including professional and national level snowboarders, skiers and triathletes.

Karina believes in a pro-active approach to treatment and that focused exercise techniques are essential to restore function and prevent injury recurrence.  Karina plans to give back to her profession by teaching professional courses to other physiotherapists through the orthopaedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
